About Kate

Kate Streip is a writer with a passion for history, mountains, and dark chocolate.

She has been writing professionally for fifteen years and has had work in various publications throughout her career, including The New York Times.
Most recently, she was long-listed for the Bath Novel Prize in fiction and completed a Writer’s Residency at the Prospect Street Writers House.
She grew up in Appalachia; its stories and its ghosts have been calling to her for her entire life.

 Kate now lives in beautiful Vermont with her husband and three boys.
